JumboGym is committed to orphan elephants!
Next to this you see Bupe, our little elephant!
JumboGym is more than just a clothing brand. In addition to sustainably producing sportswear, we also feel involved with nature and the environment, and in particular with the protection of elephants, which are a cornerstone of the ecosystem. For this reason, JumboGymClothing has adopted an orphaned elephant.

Strong together for the elephant
Bupe's story
This is Bupe, our young African elephant who was rescued on October 9, 2023 in the South Luangwa National Park in Zambia. Bupe was only 10 months old at the time and was forced to be abandoned by his herd. Before his rescue, Bupe kept himself alive by going to a waterhole where he had enough to drink! Because he was very weak, he hid every night between thorny bushes to stay out of the hands of predators. A real fighter! Bupe was transferred to the Chipembele Wildlife Education Trust with the help of Game Rangers International, whom we at JumboGym greatly admire.
Bupe is doing great at the moment! He has made many new friends and is becoming a big strong elephant. His health is being monitored closely and our little friend is being well cared for. Your contribution will help provide care for more elephants like Bupe in the future.
The good care of Bupe is not possible without Friends of the Elephant, the Game Rangers and the staff of the shelters. Are you curious about how this care works or do you want to make a donation yourself, then look at the website with the button above.
The importance of elephants
Protecting elephants is essential. Elephants are currently under great pressure from various threats. The biggest of these are habitat loss, the tourist industry, ivory trade and human-elephant conflicts. Elephants play an important role in the ecosystem. Without elephants, various plant and animal species will not survive. Without help, in ten years' time, due to the threats present, elephants will only be seen in zoos. That is why it is important that elephants living in the wild continue to exist for generations to come.
What do we do for the elephants?
JumboGym Clothing contributes to the protection of elephants and you as a buyer indirectly do too. We do this through our collaboration with Friends of the Elephant, a non-profit organization that is committed to the protection of Asian and African elephants and in particular orphan elephants. Friends of the Elephant also thinks about the long-term care of these orphan elephants, which is aimed at maintaining the populations and returning elephants to the wild. Our brand ensures more attention for orphan elephants, which indirectly contributes to better protection through more awareness. In the future, JumboGym hopes to be able to mean more and more to orphan elephants worldwide as the company grows.
